For me, I always love a fresh start, whether it’s a new year or even if it’s just a brand new week or day. It’s another opportunity to reset and refresh life so that it works for me. Each new day is an invitation to ask myself:
Who do I want to show up as today? What would it look like to live in a way that actually supports the version of me I want to grow into?
With the constant to-do’s and priorities we all have, it can be so easy to get caught up in daily living but one thing I know for sure is that setting myself up with easeful routines does my physical (and mental) health good. And it’s in these small shifts and consistent choices that my life has been filled with a little more ease.
Around Q3 of last year I really started to act from that place. I focused on habits my future self would thank me for: moving my body consistently, eating in a way that feels nourishing, and being more intentional about how I manage stress (a big one for me!)
In this new year, if you were already living as your future self, what is one small, healthy habit you would be practicing consistently?
There doesn’t need to be a big life overhaul, it’s all in the small every day choices that helps you meet yourself where you are. 🫶
