Hi Friend,
I recorded the below podcast episode with Lisa Dreher months and months ago (who now happens to be my personal nutritionist, which I’m so happy about), and originally, I had a very specific idea of when it needed to be released. I put so much pressure on myself to stick to that timeline, as if releasing it later somehow meant I had fallen behind in life and that I wouldn’t be successful.
Somewhere along the way, fairly certain it happened in childhood, I tied output with success. No output = failure.
But the older I’ve gotten, I’ve realized… Life has other plans. In this time of my life, I needed to shift my energy toward my health, and that meant giving myself the grace and compassion to let some other things in life wait. This episode was just one small example of how that showed up in my life.
Life comes in waves and seasons, and each one asks something different of us. It can be easy to forget that when there are so many voices out there telling us we’ll only be successful if we stay laser-focused, never slow down, and keep pushing no matter what. But that’s not how life actually works.
Sometimes, showing up at your best means allowing yourself the flexibility to decide what “your best” looks like in this particular moment. And if something meaningful arrives a little later than planned, it’s still meaningful—and so are you. 🫶

📖 Know
Research suggests that self-compassion doesn’t make us complacent. It can actually increase our motivation to grow after a setback. Studies also show that adjusting or releasing a goal that no longer fits our circumstances, then redirecting our energy toward what matters now, is linked to greater well-being and less psychological distress. Flexibility isn’t the opposite of focus; sometimes, it’s the healthiest and most effective way forward. (Breines & Chen, 2012; Wrosch et al., 2013)

Take a look at your to-do’s for the day (I always keep a list, but if you don’t, think about what you want to do today). Are these tasks actually something that fits the current season of your life, or does it fit a past version of you?

It's Here: Pique's New Caffeine-Free Afternoon Energy
I quit my afternoon coffee. Not because I wanted to — because I found something better.
You know that wall you hit every day around 2–3 PM? I used to just accept it as the cost of doing anything. Another coffee, a quick spike, then the crash — and somehow I'd still feel dehydrated by dinner.
Then I tried X·E Fountain, Pique's brand-new electrolyte energy drink, and I genuinely wasn't ready for how good "no crash" could feel.
No caffeine jitters. No 4 PM slump. Just clean, steady energy that actually hydrates me instead of draining me. It's built with a premium Vitamin B Complex for natural cellular energy, Magnesium Malate + Taurate for real focus, and a full electrolyte blend that makes it feel like a treat, not a chore.
The cucumber-celery-lime flavor is so crisp and refreshing — it's basically stolen my afternoon coffee slot completely.

🎁 I don’t think she’s subscribed to my newsletter so I feel safe to share it here 😆 since I haven’t given it to her yet but I got the sweetest, cutie little gifts for a friend who is very pregnant.
🌿 Normalize treating your cycle like seasons — some weeks are for planting and building, some are for being social and doing more, and some are for resting on purpose. A gentle reminder to work with your body, not against it.
☕ As I evolve my health and nutrition needs, I’m taking a look at the things I consume nearly daily and making sure that those are as high quality as possible. I recently learned coffee is one of the most sprayed crops with pesticides so I’m always on the lookout for mold-free, high quality, organic coffee. This one is approved by my nutritionist, and I have to say I have been loving it! No bitterness and has a very smooth taste 🙂
🥗 Ok I have not tried this yet but any kind of bowl of yummy ingredients and I’m all in. This recipe looks like it’ll be in my future.
