Hi Friend,
Letās talk about mistakes.
Weāve all made thousands of them over the course of our lives. Some small and forgettable; others more consequential. And what Iāve realized in my old age (lol) is that so much of it comes down to perspective.
When I call something a mistake, thereās a heaviness to it. A sense of me having done something wrong. But when I reframe it as a learning, the energy of the experience shifts. It then becomes data and a moment that showed me something that I couldnāt see before.
Itās never really about what I did or didnāt do, itās about what I do after. Do I take the experience and let it refine and evolve me? Or do I stay stuck, replaying it on a loop, wishing I had known then what I know now? Hey, Iām human so sometimes itās the latter but I try my best to be intentional and conscious of looking at experiences in life as opportunities to get and be better. We have so many chances in life to become the 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 versions of ourselves!
Growth doesnāt usually come from getting things right the first time. It comes from intentional choices that you make when things didnāt go as planned.
Hereās to meeting lifeās moments with a little more compassion and a little less self-criticism.
Rachel

Where in your life have you labeled something a failure, when in reality youāre still in the process of trying? Whatās one small, gentle step you can take today toward the thing you havenāt given up on?
