Hi Friend,

Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s already the first of the year.

As I mentioned in last week’s newsletter, my word of the year is flourish.

To flourish means to grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.

And as I sit with that definition, I find myself asking what will support my growth so I truly can flourish? What will allow me to feel well, resourced, and alive given the right conditions?

As you reflect on what your word of the year is, think what that really means to you and how it can show up in your life.

Here are some reflective prompts that might support you to go just one layer deeper so your word has more meaning:

Beyond the definition, what does the word represent to me in this season of my life?

If this word were guiding my daily choices, what might my next step today be?

What do I need to release in order to make space for this word to show up more fully in my life?

How do I want this word to feel in my body when I’m truly embodying it, and not just thinking about it?

You don’t need all the answers right now or a perfect plan. Let this word meet you where you are; in the small moments…and trust that over time, it will naturally rise into your consciousness as you move through the year. 🫶

Wishing you the healthiest of years ahead!

Rachel
