Hi Friend,
First off, I hope you are having a festive holiday season filled with loved ones, good food, and things that bring you joy.
As I reflect on this year, there were definitely difficult moments but there were also moments that filled me with lots of gratitude and, simply put, FUN.
To get myself into a reflective space, I shared a Youtube video this week all about doing a life audit or life well-being assessment where you can take a look at every area of your life and check-in with yourself to see how you feel — and also see how you can get to where you’d like to be.
As a thank you for being on my newsletter, you can download the life audit workbook here.
When I completed my own audit, something stood out. There wasn’t a single area of my life that felt like it was truly thriving. It was a hard health year, relationship year, mental health year, etc etc. If I’m being honest most areas of my life truly felt expansive, energized, or deeply nourishing. Of course there were aspects of it, my career has felt really fulfilling with the different projects and clients I’m working on but all in all, it was just one of those frozen, blah years for me.
So that’s when I realized what my word of the year for 2026 is…
It’s to flourish.
The definition to flourish is: to grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.
2026 is all about creating the conditions and the environment where life can grow well, even if growth is slow or quiet, growth is growth. 💗
As you go through your own life audit, think through what word or theme for this next year might stand out to you. I’d love to know what your word is!
Here’s to an upcoming year of flourishing 🌱🌻
