Hi Friend,

Everything in our lives moves so quickly. What would happen though if we let ourselves move at our own pace instead?

Sometimes life asks us to move fast, and that’s okay. But other times, the things we thought we had to rush through might be asking for a different relationship — one with more patience, more presence, and a little more room to breathe.

As I was needing to slow down over the past few days, I realized that even the most everyday routines, like taking a shower, can feel like nothing or it can feel like everything if you put intention behind it and slow things down.

And maybe that’s true for more than just our routines. Maybe the pace we choose changes the way we experience our work, our healing, our relationships, our bodies. If you’ve been feeling behind, rushed, or like you should already be somewhere else by now, other than exactly where you are, I hope this can be a small reminder: your pace is still a pace and it still carries you forward.

Where in your life are you moving faster than you actually want to and what would it look like to give yourself permission to slow down?

Let me know by replying to this email. 🙂

📖 Know

Research shows that mindfulness can help lower the body’s stress response by bringing attention back to the present moment. Even small moments of awareness — noticing your breath, the water on your skin, or the room you’re in — can help shift the body out of autopilot and into a steadier state. This is a reminder that pace isn’t just about how much we get done; it’s also about how grounded, safe, and connected we feel while living our lives.

🌱 Begin

Choose one everyday routine today — taking a shower, making coffee, washing your face, getting into bed — and do it just a litttleee bit slower than usual.

How does it make you feel to give yourself the space?

A shower can be more than something you rush through. It can become a small, everyday act of self-care that helps you make you feel like yourself again.
